What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 4:00pm. If the house is ready earlier, we are happy for you to let yourself in. And check-out is 10:00am with an small extensions possible depending on availability. Just drop us a note or give us a call and we'll let you know.
Is there 24-hour access?
Yes. Guests are met upon arrival or arrangements are made to have the keys delivered to guests at the property.
Is there a maximum number of people?
Town Bungalow sleeps a maximum of 6 people. There are two full-sized, first floor bedrooms - one king and one queen - with another queen bed in the attic for older children and big kids at heart who don't mind things a little more rustic. The home has central heat and cooling throughout, with fans in all rooms.
Each bedroom has its own appeal. The master bedroom is equipped with a television and has a lovely aspect and views, while the light-filled second bedroom has its own private bath. The attic is a larger, private space that makes a great, fun escape, however..... Because it is an older home, the steps to the attic are steeper than in most modern homes, and for that reason it isn't suitable for younger children and adults with mobility issues. Children under 14 years of age aren't allowed in the attic without adult supervision, and for everyone's safety, it is essential that guests use the handrail at all times when travelling up and down the stairs.
Is Town Bungalow family friendly?
You bet. Town Bungalow is perfect for families and groups of friends. There is ample space to unwind inside and out. There's outdoor dining in the front and backyards, perfect for making the most of Moab's sunny weather and great outdoors. Or huddle by the fire in winter when the weather turns cool. It's a special treat. You'll also be staying just one block from beautiful Swanny Park and the Moab Recreation and Aquatics Centre - a brilliant place to cool off and have fun, with indoor and outdoor pools, water slides and diving boards.
Is there a minimum stay?
While the Town Bungalow is a nightly rental cottage, we do typically require a minimum two night stay. Check our calendar; it's always updated to reflect those days when a minimum rental period applies.
Can I bring pets?
We love pets, dogs in particular, but from past experience, have come to recognize pets don't particularly work for the house so we have a no pets policy...sorry.
Can I smoke?
Smoking is not allowed on the property, either inside the house or in the yards. We did allow smoking outside for a while but developed an unfortunate problem with cigarette butts in the gardens. So to be fair to all guests, we now kindly request that you go for a short walk down the street if you wish to light up. And given the sensitivity of many people to cigarette smoke and the difficulty in getting it removed from all furnishings, please be aware that we do charge a hefty $750 cleaning fee should you be tempted to sneak a sly cigarette - of any variety - on the property.
What if I need to cancel my reservation?
If you cancel outside of 60 days of your check-in date, we offer a 50% refund less third party processing fees and charges.
Is there a cleaning fee?
We are not fond of hidden fees and charges, but there is a nominal, one-time cleaning fee of $45 per reservation.
Is Town Bungalow in town?
Town Bungalow has one of the best locations in Moab. We're close enough to Main Street to ditch the car and walk to all downtown eateries, outfitters and attractions, yet far enough removed to be quiet and restful. The cottage is half a block from Main Street, two blocks from Center Street, and one block from the Moab Recreation and Aquatic Center and festival and concert events at Swanny Park. There is ample off street parking, and if you're pulling a large trailer there is additional parking available next door should you need the extra space.
